the sauce:
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup oyster sauce
3-4 tbsp hot water
taste and adjust as necessary
preparation method:
choose your preparation method: stir-fry, blanch, boil, grill/roast or steam
recipe notes:
• cut thicker stems lengthwise to cook more evenly
• give thicker stems a head start in the cooking process
• great alongside rice, noodles, or protein
• add flavor boosters with sesame oil, fried garlic, stir fry with ginger, drizzle chilli oil, or even sprinkle on crushed peanuts.
